Alehti bought most of Central Clock

The most significant news of the spring in the Finnish watch and jewelery industry is here: A-lehti buys 60% of Keskinen Kell, which makes watches and jewelery online in Finland and Sweden. The acquisition will increase A-magazine's already significant e-commerce business.

Keskisen Kello, Finland's most profitable watch and jewelery company, has been a rare success story in its field, which has grown its business profitably over the past ten years. A-lehti, which has grown from a media house to a conglomerate, also owns the majority of the internationally successful Finnish Design Shop, which is currently the world's largest online store for Nordic design. The acquisition will diversify the A-lehti Group's offering to consumers and strengthen e-commerce as one of the Group's significant business models.
