Introducing the Longines Spirit pilot watch collection

Longines, based in Saint-Imier, Switzerland, unveiled its rich aviation history, a chronometer-classified Pilot watch collection bearing the Spirit name after years of hiatus.

Based on the watches used by the pioneers of aviation in the past decades, the Longines Spirit collection consists of 42-millimeter chronograph models, as well as 40- and 42-millimeter three-pointer models.

Spirit is Longines ’pilot watch collection, the latest interpretation of which combines in a great way the Longines watches used by aviation pioneers such as Amelie Earhart, Elinor Smith,orologi replica Howard Huges and Paul-Emile Victor with today’s technology and design language. One might even say that there was a time, because so strongly the history of Longines is associated with aviation without a proper collection. Now the situation has improved and even very strongly.

The Spirit collection, which will go on sale in the autumn, includes three different models with flat and bracelet variations. The most interesting novelty is the column-wheel chronograph packed in 42 mm steel shells to my liking, available in silver gray, black and blue plate, steel or leather bracelet.
Perhaps my own favorite of the chronograph models was the somewhat surprising silver-colored model with a steel bracelet, which in a good way evoked the feel of the 80s in me. In terms of price, the steel bracelet model is the most sensible choice anyway, because regardless of the bracelet, the price of the watch is the same, but when purchased later, the Leather Bracelet becomes cheaper.
Technically, the Spirit Chronograph offers 60 hours of operation, backed by a COSC chronometer-rated EEA-based machine. The water resistance of the watch is 100 meters, which is sufficient for everyday use, in addition to which the pull knob must be screw-locked. The timer pushbuttons do not have a screw lock. The magnificent dial can be admired on both sides through the reflective sapphire crystal.

The recommended price of the Longines Spirit Chronograph is 3,030 euros.

The body of the Spirit collection consists of three-pointer models, which are offered in two different sizes (40 and 42 millimeters),replica uhren also with three different colored boards, and a steel or leather strap.
