Hublot Goes Back To Basics With New Big Bang Sang Bleu II

Partnerships are part of Hublot’s DNA, and many of them are continuing adventures in which they explore what hasn’t done before in watchmaking. This is also the case with the partnership that they have with Maxime Plescia-Büchi, the Swiss tattoo artist and founder of Sang Bleu. When his signature designs are transformed in watches, they become tattoos that not only you can take off, but which also tell time.

The most mesmerizing of the Sang Bleu collection is the Big Bang Sang Bleu II. Thanks to its unique hands, it looks like a continuous changing tattoo in Plescia-Büchi’s signature style, even more so when the chronograph function is engaged. While the shapes of the hands continue in the case, and also the strap, does it remain unmistakeably a Hublot. For the latest Big Bang Sang Bleu II, Hublot and Plescia-Büchi explore a new simplicity, by using black and white. The result is refreshing, as the basic colors amplify the strengths of the design.

The new Big Bang Sang Bleu II is like the previous models, powered by Hublot’s UNICO manufacture caliber, HUB1240.MXM. This movement offers not only a generous power reserve of 72 hours, but also a flyback chronograph with column wheel. The 45mm case is available in titanium, limited to 200 pieces, and in King gold, Hublot’s proprietary red gold alloy, of which they will only make 100 pieces. Hublot also didn’t forget about its clients who are connoisseurs of diamonds, as both versions are also available with an exquisite diamond setting.cloni italia shop While the Big Bang Sang Bleu II case is quite complex to make, both versions are water-resistant up to 10 ATM/100 meters, which is quite extraordinary when you also take into account that this is a chronograph. All the Big Bang Sang Bleu II are delivered on a white rubber strap with black rolled edges matching the dial’s style, but can easily be switched for another strap thanks to the patented One-Click system.

Mondaine Stop2Go Swiss Railways Watch – Generation 2

Virtually all of the watches Mondaine produces are visually inspired by the famous clocks that can be found throughout Switzerland’s railway stations, although the Stop2Go model holds a special place in the Swiss brand’s catalog, as it is the only one that actually emulates the unique motion of the clocks’ hands. With that in mind, although Mondaine has been producing wristwatches with this same core design since 1986, the Stop2Go is a more recent addition, with the very first execution appearing only slightly more than a decade ago in 2013. As one of its most noteworthy new releases of 2023, Mondaine announced the return of the quirky yet charming Stop2Go, and one of the major updates to accompany this second generation of the model is that its crown has been entirely eliminated in order to provide the watch with a round profile that more closely mirrors the appearance of the famous Swiss railway clocks.
