This is the 14th special edition watch created by IWC for the "Lawrence Sports Charity Foundation"-a charity that uses the power of sports to help children and young people fight against unfavorable factors such as violence, discrimination and social exclusion in life Up. In terms of style, this is also an unprecedented version in the Portuguese series. So next, let us take a closer look at this brand new IWC Portugal series "Lawrence Sports Foundation" special edition single button chronograph.

IWC’s Portugal is the most representative work of the brand. The watches in this series come in various forms. Generally speaking, they are automatically or manually wound watches equipped with functions such as three hands, tourbillon, perpetual calendar or split-second chronograph.replicas tag heuer The watch I’m going to talk about today is a manual-winding single-button chronograph. Watch friends who know IWC well can definitely recognize this movement, but at the same time they will also know that this movement has never been in this series. Appeared in. This model IW515301 uses the same movement as a work that was launched in 2015: the Portofino series IW5151-03 single-button chronograph. The latter is very mysterious, it is only available in precious metal models, and has now disappeared from the product catalog. Because of this, people are also very interested in this watch. Compared with the traditional automatic chronograph, it takes a few more steps in the mechanism, which we will introduce later.

Although the name is a bit long, this IW515301 watch is first of all a Portuguese series watch, which means that we will find all the classic elements in it. Its case is huge, with a diameter of 46mm, but this is the standard operation of the Portuguese series, and it has no teeth. Its bezel is almost equal to none, so the design combined with the diameter makes the sense of existence of this watch straight up. Its lugs are relatively short and curved, which provides a good wearing feel. The brand has processed the surface of the case through polishing and wire drawing techniques to create a refined texture. Among all the external elements, the most conspicuous is the crown, which is used for winding and function settings, as well as for starting and stopping timing functions.

Like all the themed watches of the Lawrence Foundation, this Portuguese single-button chronograph also has a blue dial decorated with sun patterns. In addition, the iconic Arabic numeral hour markers and leaf-shaped hands and other elements are also readily available. Both are rhodium-plated, forming a very sharp contrast with the dial. Thanks to the size of the case and movement, the layout of the dial is clearly displayed and proportioned: the small seconds at 6 o'clock, the 60-minute counter at 12 o'clock, the calendar window at 3 o'clock, and the counter at 9 o'clock. A very practical power reserve indicator module for this movement.

Turning the watch around, what you see is no longer the familiar sapphire transparent case back, but the closed case back engraved with the winning design of the IWC & Lawrence Foundation Project Children’s Annual Drawing Competition. This year's painting competition takes "Time to Care" as the theme. A 15-year-old girl from China, Lv Yixin, won the award for her beautiful painting depicting friendship. She is also a participant in the "Special Olympics in China" project.

Although the movement was hidden, its special breath still spread from the gap. The model of the movement is Cal.59360, which is polished on the basis of the well-known 8th dynamic storage Cal.592xx core series. IWC has used it very few times and only appeared in the Portofino series.

On top of this movement that can provide a 192-hour power reserve, IWC placed a slim chronograph function module, comprar relojes replicas which contains a huge column wheel and a clearly visible lever gear system. The highlight of this movement is the "single button" architecture, which means that only one button can start/stop/reset the timing function.

The new IWC Portugal series "Lawrence Sports Foundation" special edition single-button chronograph is matched with a black Santoni alligator leather strap with a stainless steel folding clasp. The watch is limited to 500 pieces and its price is CHF 17,000.

Mondaine Stop2Go Swiss Railways Watch – Generation 2

Virtually all of the watches Mondaine produces are visually inspired by the famous clocks that can be found throughout Switzerland’s railway stations, although the Stop2Go model holds a special place in the Swiss brand’s catalog, as it is the only one that actually emulates the unique motion of the clocks’ hands. With that in mind, although Mondaine has been producing wristwatches with this same core design since 1986, the Stop2Go is a more recent addition, with the very first execution appearing only slightly more than a decade ago in 2013. As one of its most noteworthy new releases of 2023, Mondaine announced the return of the quirky yet charming Stop2Go, and one of the major updates to accompany this second generation of the model is that its crown has been entirely eliminated in order to provide the watch with a round profile that more closely mirrors the appearance of the famous Swiss railway clocks. Originally designed by Hans Hilfiker in 1944, the Bauhaus-style clock that s...
