Glashütte Original - PanoInverse Limited Edition

Limited to just 25 pieces, the latest PanoInverse rendition from Glashütte Original has been inspired to an architectural landmark of the city of Dresden, the Academy of Fine Arts and its distinctive dome, popularly known as the “lemon press” and dominating the skyline of the Saxon capital.

The new PanoInverse Limited Edition develops the idea of the original model of presenting the inner beauty of the movement on the dial side of the watch. To achieve this goal, replica uhren numerous components that are normally visible only through the sapphire crystal case back were mounted in inverse order.

Showcased on the dial side, the three-quarter plate is embellished by a guilloché pattern that recreates the characteristic relief-like pattern of the dome of the Academy of Fine Arts.

The elegance of this semi-mechanical engraving technique is complemented by screw-mounted gold chatons and blued screws.

The anthracite varnished dial with applied indexes and hands in white gold is asymmetrically positioned on the left side leaving space to the power reserve display at 2 o'clock and, just below it, the signature duplex swan-neck fine adjustment mounted on a balance bridge that appears to float in space.

To regulate it, a watchmaker can turn an adjustment screw on the swan-neck spring. Changing the position of the regulator changes the effective length of the balance spring thus affecting the rate of the watch.

Beating at the frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (corresponding to a frequency of 4 Hz) with an autonomy of 41 hours, the manufactory’s manual winding movement Calibre 66-09 is housed in a 42 mm x 12 mm case crafted from platinum and polished.

Matched to a grey Louisiana alligator nubuck leather strap, the Glashütte Original PanoInverse Limited Edition ref. 1-66-09-01-03 will be available exclusively in the Boutiques of the brand at the price of Euro 45,000.
