MeisterSinger - Bell Hora Anniversary Edition

Introduced by Meistersinger last April, the Bell Hora was received enthusiastically as it made a sophisticated complication like the “Sonnerie au passage” accessible to many. In fact, it was launched with the slogan: "the hour strikes for everyone".

Exactly on the hour, the watch produces a friendly chime, fake uhren alerting the wearer that a new hour has just begun without having to look at the dial.

The pusher at 2 o'clock makes it possible to disable the chime so that no sound will be produced when the wearer asks for silence. A black marking shows at a glance whether the watch is going to chime on the hour or remain silent.

Just like the majority of models from the the German watchmaker, the Bell Hora indicates the time using just one hand: the needle-sharp hand sweeps over the 12 hours divided by 144 markers, each representing 5 minutes.

Designed in the style of old pocket watches, the new Bell Hora Anniversary Edition comes in a 43 mm stainless steel case that frames an elegant white lacquered dial with black typography and red and blue accents. The blue spiral beautifully decorates the dial while suggesting the flowing of time.

Alternating satin-brushed and polished surfaces, the case is water resistant to up to a pressure of 5 bar (approximately 50 metres / 165 feet). The large crown is adorned with an embossed MeisterSinger logo, the musical notation for a pause.

The 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour) Sellita SW 200 automatic movement equipped with the "Sonnerie" proprietary module is visible through the 6-screwed glass exhibition back and features a rotor engraved with the logo of the brand. It offers an autonomy of 38 hours.

Limited to 100 pieces worldwide, the MeisterSinger Bell Hora Anniversary Edition has a price of Euro 3,690.

Mondaine Stop2Go Swiss Railways Watch – Generation 2

Virtually all of the watches Mondaine produces are visually inspired by the famous clocks that can be found throughout Switzerland’s railway stations, although the Stop2Go model holds a special place in the Swiss brand’s catalog, as it is the only one that actually emulates the unique motion of the clocks’ hands.
