Launched by Longines in 2020, the Spirit collection keeps expanding with new models. The latest addition to the family is the Spirit Titanium.
Available in two sizes, 40 mm and 42 mm,replicas relojes this sporty yet stylish timepiece can be matched to a NATO-type nylon strap that reprises the anthracite and black colours of the dial or to an interchangeable titanium bracelet with triple safety folding clasp and push-piece opening mechanism.
The new references are crafted from a Grade 5 titanium alloy (titanium, aluminium and vanadium), lighter and more hard-wearing than steel. Grade 5 titanium is also darker than steel for a more technical look.
The lines of the watch are highlighted by the alternation of satin brushed and polished surfaces.
Also thanks to a screw in crown, the case is water resistant up to a pressure of 10 bar (approximately 100 metres / 330 feet).
Encircled by a satin black flange, the sandblasted anthracite dial provides the ideal background to make the warm-toned golden hands and applied Arabic numerals clearly stand out. For a cleaner dial design, Longines chose not to feature a date window.
Legibility at first glance is excellent even in poor light conditions thanks to the generous use of Super-LumiNova luminescent material. An anti-reflective coating is applied on both sides of the domed sapphire crystal.
Protected by a solid caseback secured by six screws, the COSC-certified self-winding Calibre L888.4 (ETA A31.L11 base) beats at the frequency of 3.5 Hz (25,200 vibrations per hour) and offers an autonomy of 72 hours, or 3 days. It is equipped with a silicon balance-spring for increased accuracy and resistance to magnetic fields.
Delivered with a 5-year warranty, the new Longines Spirit Titanium has an indicative price of Euro 2,550 with strap or Euro 2,950 with titanium bracelet.
