 The Carrera Twin-Time 41 mm is one of our favourite models from the new generation of the Carrera Three Hands collection presented by TAG Heuer last October . Characterised by an understated design, this model offers a useful GMT function for displaying two time zones at a glance combined to a striking blue dial. We recently had the opportunity to wear and test it for a few days and we are now delighted to share our impressions and pictures. Measuring 41 mm x 12.30 mm and water resistant up to a pressure of 10 bar (approximately 100 metres / 30 feet), the classical round case is crafted from stainless steel with alternating fine-brushed and polished surfaces.  Breitling presented a new variation of its Navitimer Automatic 41 characterised by a silver dial enhanced by blue details. The 41 mm x 10 mm case of this 500-piece limited edition is crafted from stainless steel and equipped with a beaded and ratcheted bidirectional bezel with the signature aviation slide rule. Water resistance is limited to 30 metres / 100 feet. The striking silver dial has a date window at 6 o’clock with blue markers and hours, fake rolex minutes and seconds hands.   Super-LumiNova luminescent material is used for the hour and minute hands as well as for the markers to improve readability in darker environments.  The watch is powered by the 4 Hz (28,800 vph) Breitling Calibre 17 based on the self-winding ETA 2824-2.  The Perigraph is one of the classics of the single-hand watch specialist MeisterSinger. It was introduced 20 years ago and it still is one of the bestsellers of the German watchmaker. Several variations have been designed in this time frame, all of them featuring the distinctive open date disk and, of course, a single hand to indicate the time: needle-sharp, this large hand sweeps over the 12 hours divided by 144 markers, each representing 5 minutes. In 2021, and only for this year, the Perigraph is also available in a special 200-piece limited edition, the Perigraph Mellow Yellow, rolex replica characterised by a bold look created by the contrast between steel blue and yellow with just a touch of red.  Zurich-based SEVENFRIDAY introduced today the T2/04 T-ART, a new model of the T Series that features a special grey semi-transparent dial made of eyewear lens material. Through a structure of skeletonised elements clearly inspired to architecture, it is possible to appreciate glimpses of the mechanical movement powering the timepiece. Protected by a K1 hardened mineral, the five-layered dial recalls the Art Deco style in several details, including the typical numerals of the period displayed in the bevelled inner circle in brushed galvanic gold or the  whilst the outer plate in hard sandblasted gun metal is stamped in all corners with recognizable Roaring Twenties’ shapes stamped in the four corners of the the plate in hard sandblasted gun metal.  Vacheron Constantin expands its Traditionnelle collection with two new models equipped with a complete calendar. Framed by a 41 mm x 10.7 mm case in 18K white gold or 18K 5N pink gold, the new Traditionnelle complete calendar openface feature a sapphire dial whose transparency offers views of the Calibre 2460 QCL/2, which adopts a contrasting anthracite grey colour achieved by NAC galvanic surface treatment.  Their style brings to mind the Traditionnelle Twin Beat perpetual calendar model presented in 2019. The technical nature of these new timepieces is well highlighted by their "openface" design.  Edox presented the Hydro-Sub Automatic Chronometer, a diver's watch inspired to a popular model that the brand released in the 1960s. Its 42 mm x 12.5 mm stainless steel case is equipped with a unidirectional bezel featuring a scratch-resistant ceramic insert. The screwed-down crown with double O-ring seal contributes to make the watch water resistant to 300 metres / 1,000 feet. A 2.5 mm-thick sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides protects the deep blue dial with orange hands and indices, rolex replika filled with Super-LumiNova to improve readability in darker environments.  Designed with Valentine's Day in mind, the new Breguet Reine de Naples 8905 comes in a 28-piece limited edition featuring a white mother-of-pearl dial that brings to mind the appearance of fluffy “clouds” in the sky. Characterised by the typical oval shape, the 36.5 mm x 28.45 mm white gold case with fluted caseband has bezel and flange set with 128 diamonds (approx. 0.45 ct), the ideal frame for the precious dial.  Founded in 1883, Alpina has an important heritage that can often become a source of inspiration. Looking back to their "bumper movement" from the 1950s, the Geneva-based brand decided to develop its sixth Manufacture movement with this rare feature. The bumper movement was characterised by an oscillating weight that instead of turning 360° like  contemporary rotors, turned 120°. On both sides of its course, a small spring served to send the mass back in the opposite direction and facilitate the winding of the movement.  In 2017, Bell & Ross presented the BR 03-92 Horolum introducing a name drawn from “Horo” (referring to watchmaking) and “Lum” for light in order to emphasise a key feature of the watch: the powerful photoluminescent coating of hands and indices.
