Bulgarians - Otso Roma Worldtimer

Whether you are travelling to other countries or interacting with people living there, a worldtimer function on your wristwatch is amazingly useful.

Designed for globetrotters, the new Octo Roma Worldtimer from Bulgari enables instant reading of the time in 24 cities, i.e. in 24 time zones. This is a first for the Octo collection.

Available 904L stainless steel with satin-brushed and polished finishes, blue sunburst dial and steel bracelet (ref. 103481) or in black 904L steel with sandblasted surfaces, replicas relojes matt black dial and black textured rubber strap (ref. 103486), the Octo Roma Worldtimer features a central display for hours, minutes and seconds combined with a double rotating disc on the outer edge: one for the 24 reference cities and another with a 24-hour graduated scale.

The functions are adjusted via the crown: after positioning the city of the chosen time zone at 12 o'clock, just set the time until the hours and minutes hands indicate the exact time in the selected time zone, then make sure that the 24-hour indicator corresponds to the time zone at 12 o'clock. At this point, you can read the time in all the 24 time zones at a glance.

In the black version, the hour-markers as well as the hours and minutes hands are enhanced with Super-LumiNova while they are in brushed rhodium-plated gold in the blue dial model.

Water resistant to 100 metres / 330 feet, the 41 mm x 11.35 mm 58-faceted case houses the new integrated manufacture Calibre BVL257 comprised of 261 components. Visible through the transparent sapphire crystal caseback and beating at the frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour), this self-winding movement offers an autonomy of 42 hours.

Both versions of the Bulgari Octo Roma Worldtimer retail at Euro 8,600.

Mondaine Stop2Go Swiss Railways Watch – Generation 2

Virtually all of the watches Mondaine produces are visually inspired by the famous clocks that can be found throughout Switzerland’s railway stations, although the Stop2Go model holds a special place in the Swiss brand’s catalog, as it is the only one that actually emulates the unique motion of the clocks’ hands.
