 Consider, for a moment, the dial of a Rolex GMT-Master. A blue and red bezel emblazoned with numbers hugs its face. From the center of the dial, four uniquely shaped hands stretch outward. In the place of numerals is a series of gleaming shapes: A rectangle, circle, and triangle. The watch is far from spare – the opposite, really.
